Valentine’s Day Idea – Love Tickets for All Occasions
July 10, 2009 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
Do you ever feel like you want to do something more for Valentine’s Day than just the normal stuff? Do you ever wish that you could give your partner a Valentine’s Day gift that would last all year long? Well, this is hard to do, because most people don’t realize how easy it can be to do something really easy and fun that can last all year long. And a great way to do something like this is with love tickets for all occasion.
Now, you can either buy them from an adult store or a book store, or you can even make your own. But, the whole idea is that you would give your special someone a book of tickets that he/she could redeem anytime! Then, they would simply present a ticket to you at a time you weren’t expecting it, and you would do whatever was on the ticket for them. Be sure to make them personal so that she enjoys them that much more!
If you are making your own tickets, here are some examples you might want to include.
A ticket for one hour of cuddling
A ticket for one walk under the stars
A ticket for one, long, passionate kiss
A ticket for one dinner out together
A ticket for one hour of sizzling hot-tub fun
A ticket for one outdoor nookie (don’t get caught!)
A ticket for one movie night, with dinner ordered in
There are literally endless possibilities, but these are at least some to start with. You could make them as naughty, as romantic, as adventurous, or as laid back as you want. But just remember one thing… when you give out these tickets, you must honor them. That is what makes them so special. So show your loved one that you care enough to take time out of your busy life to just spend some time alone with them.

April 17, 2009 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
Stumped for Valentine’s gift ideas this year? Are you wondering how you are going to make this Valentine’s Day special for her, when you don’t even have a clue where to start? Too often the thought is there, but the ideas just don’t come. This is natural though, and it stems from our desire to do such a good job performing on Valentine’s Day that we psyche ourselves out, and as a result, defeat ourselves before we start.

Often what guys fail to remember is that the gifts don’t have to be expensive and flashy. Actually, it might be better that they are not. What she really wants is something thoughtful. She wants something that will remind her of you every time she sees it (or wears it). She wants something that you put a lot of thought into, not a lot of money into. And that is why a customized shirt, socks, hat, and underwear can make the best gifts she has ever gotten for Valentine’s Day. Because these things, just like you, are very close to her all the time. They can keep her company while you are not there, and she can brag to her friends about how thoughtful you are when they ask where she got them!
There are a number of different things you could put on these clothing items to customize them. You could simply say “I love you”. Or, you could have both of your names put on them. Or, you could have her “pet” name that only you call her printed on them. Examples might be “darling”, “sweety”, or “baby”. Whatever you decide to customize these items with, you can bet that they will mean the world to her, just like you do.
Remember that Getting Personal is the UK's number one place to get customized and personalized gifts!

Here is a top five list of cool Valentine's day presents that are unlike the other gifts that you could get your man. Remember that when selecting a gift it's all about getting something that he'll like AND most importantly use. Men like more "useful" Valentine's day gifts rather then short term gifts.
5. Grooming Products - Men can be particular about shaving looking for top quality products (it is their face after all)!. Why not treat him to a nice set of grooming products for him to stay looking clean for you.
Suggested Retailers: Carter and Bond
4. Magazine Subscription - Buy him his favorite magazine for a year. Does he love Esquire but never only buy it on special occassions? Or buy him his favorite football magazine. This is a perfect gift to accompany some lingerie two small gifts with great results!
Suggested Retailers: GreatMagazines
3. Cologne - No man (or should we say, no man that you would be with) likes to smell bad. Why not pick out your favorite cologne for him. There's no better way to put your favorite scent on him than by giving cologne to him for Valentine's day. (Neat little trick huh).
Suggested Retailers: CheapSmells.com
2. Lingerie (for you) - Yes, this shows up on every list for Valentine's presents for men. That's because this is what men LIKE and WANT. They want to see you dolled up and wearing some intimate lingerie on Valentine's day.
Suggested Retailers: LaSenza or KnickerBox
1. A Classy Watch - Whenever he checks the time from this point forward he will think of you. His friends will comment on the watch and he'll be able to tell them it was from you. They can be jealous because all they received was a necktie.
Suggested Retailers: Christopher Ward London Limited

Selecting the Proper Customized Valentine’s Gifts
January 15, 2009 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
One of the great things about Valentine's day is making customized Valentine's gifts. I'm not talking something that you would make in primary school we're talking about being selecting a useful item or gift and getting that properly customized. You simply have to put a little thought into selecting and customizing the gift. So how do you go about making a good customized valentine's gift? Here are some simple tips for you to pick the correct personalized gift.
1) Brainstorm what he or she likes
You should grab a piece of paper and write down all the things that he/she likes. For example: Golfing, Football, Scotch and TV.
2) Think of things that he/she might need or want
Using the list of things that he/she like to do you think of things that he/she might want or use. Don't worry too much about trying to determine if you can personalize the object. For example: golf balls, golf tees, golf towel, football magazine subscription, tumbler glass for scotch, more bottles of scotch, etc..
3) Browse a store which sells customized valentine's gifts such as Getting Personal.
From the list above I can see that the golf items are all customizable.
4) Now getting something engraved (or written) on the selected item.
When selecting what to get engraved on the item first think of the use of the item. For example the golf towel you probably don't want to get both of your names written on it. It would be better as something like "I love you" or something along those lines. Be creative but also think of the use of the item prior to getting it engraved.
Of course, if you have ran out of time and can't make something customized then you can always order chocolates (Chocolate Trading Company), flowers (Next Day Flowers) or a gift hamper (First4hampers) and get it rush delivered. Plus you can take solice in the fact that guranateed you weren't the only person to do this!
Stay In For Chocolate Fountain Night
January 11, 2009 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
A great idea for Valentine's day that won't blow your budget is to make a Chocolate Fountain Night.
A chocolate fountain is basically a three-dimensional chocolate fondue. For a Chocolate Fountain Night you'll need a chocolate fountain, high quality chocolate and fruit.
You'll need to buy the following things:
A Chocolate Fountain - Home Chocolate Fountains range in size up to about 19" tall. They are primarily made of plastic and may have some stainless steel components (although all-stainless models do exist) and are usually dishwasher safe. Home chocolate fountains normally hold 6 or less pounds of chocolate.
Chocolate - It is imperative that you buy Couverture Chocolate to get the correct flow of the chocolate. Most chocolate fountains will come with a pack of the specialty chocolate or the chocolate shop will recommend the correct chocolate for your fountain.
Recommended Chocolatiers: zChocolat or Chocolate Trading Company
Fruit - The fruit you want to create an assortment of fruit cut into approximately 2-3 cm cubes. Some good fruit to consider is Strawberries, Banana's, Kiwi's and Oranges.
Now you simply cut up the fruit the day before and follow the instructions on the chocolate fountain to make your chocolate flow!
Cost:
Chocolate Fountain: £ 49.95
Chocolate: £ 8.5
Fruit: £ 10 (approximately)
Total Cost: £ 68.95
How To Make A Good Personalized Valentine’s Gift
January 6, 2009 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
Personalized Presents: Why and how to make a good personalized gift
Providing your loved one with a gift that you make, or personalize, will show the effort and care you took to providing her (or him) with something from your heart. Don't try to extend yourself too far, instead focus on gifts that you can reasonably personalize on your own and focus on your particular skill set.
For example, if you're a musician then consider writing and performing a song for your loved one, while those who are prolific writers should consider writing a poem or short story as a romantic gesture. No matter what your particular set of skills might be, you can apply your talents to craft the perfect gift that she is sure to remember for years to come.
Steps to Make a Good Gift
To start take stock of what your loved one truly enjoys, as well as her professional aspirations. Once you have written down a list of her favorite activities, think of a gift that you can create to supplement the activity and improve her daily life. For example, if she is an avid home chef, then consider making a personalized recipe book that she can fill out with her own ideas – this will be a book that she completes on a regular basis, and will continue to think about you with every use.
Another fun personalized gift tip is to make a gift of the memories that you two share: you can take a memorable photograph of the two of you and create a jigsaw puzzle based upon the experience, which you can then assemble together – this will allow you to share memories of events past and reminisce about the future. This can be done at GettingPersonal.co.uk
You can take this idea a step further by creating a personalized photo album, which you can create by hand, with unique designs and commentary that will show her that you truly put a lot of thought into the present. If you're giving a gift of jewelry, consider a keepsake necklace that features a picture of you two to make the gift more meaningful. Again at GettingPersonal.co.uk.
Whatever you decided to do be sure that you take her considerations into mind, your skills into mind and a way to join those two things to create something magical.
Tips to Save Money On Valentine’s Day
December 28, 2008 by Romantic · Leave a Comment
Valentine's Day is an expensive time of the year. Chocolates, Lingerie, Flowers and other stuff is the norm now and that makes it expensive. Here are some ideas to save you some money during these tough economic times.
1) Say No To Roses
Sure 12 Red Roses means love. However, unless you've only been dating a short time or you know roses are her favorite just about any bouquet of flowers is perfect for the occasion. Flower stores really increase the price of roses during valentine's day so just say NO to roses. Simple as that. Looking for other nice flowers? Try Carnations or an assortment of flowers.
Suggested Flower Stores: Next Day Flowers, Clare Florist and Flying Flowers.
2) Buy A Smaller Box of GOOD chocolate.
Instead of spending a large amount of a box of chocolates go for quality NOT quantity. Surely you don't want your girl eating a whole box of chocolates by herself anyway. Why not get her 6 chocolates of her very favorite type. Note that I'm not saying cheap out on chocolates. I'm saying buy HIGH quality.
Suggested Good Chocolates Suppliers: Chocolate Trading Company and zChocolat.com
3) Lingerie Deals
Many lingerie stores have specials after Christmas and for Valentine's Day. Take a look around for special Lingerie Coupon codes, specials and promotions. For example CheapSmells has a promotion for up to 80% off regular priced items right now.
Suggested Retailer: Fig Leaves UK, LaSenza UK
and CX LONDON BOUTIQUE
Buy and Prepare Early
To avoid paying extra for Flowers, shipping and chocolates you should prepare early. In fact if you time it correctly you can get some Christmas Shopping sales and buy the products you need for Valentine's day.
