Valentine's Day Wine, Whisky and Champagne

A bit different but equally good gift for Valentine's day is buying your loved one some spirits. Spirits include every sort of alcohol from Whisky to White wine. Spirits are a nice gift as your loved one will sit down to a nice glass of Malt Whisky and while he/she is drinking it will think of you.

For Men
When buying spirits for your bloke you can choose between Red Wine or Malt Whisky. We recommend Whisky as that is a very nice gift that he can enjoy for the rest of the month or year. When buying whisky we recommend choosing his favorite bottle. However, if he already has enough of that venture out and try to find something else he likes. There are plenty of varities to choose from and we recommend the following three bottles as they are a reasonably priced and delicious.

• BENRIACH 20 Year Old- Rounded medium to full bodied, rich honey, vanilla with hints of apples, spice, chocolate and nuts.
• TALISKER 18 Year Old - With an amber colour, the nose is rich and fruity - Victoria plums, greengages, perhaps dried orange peel - with some butterscotch or rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind.
• MACALLAN 18 Year Old Sherry Oak - A colour of light Mahogany, a nose of dried fruits and ginger with hints of citrus, vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate displays rich dried fruits, spice, clove, orange and wood smoke with a finish full dried fruits and sweet toffee, with a hint of ginger and wood smoke.

If you are looking for a gift for both of you then a bottle of champagne or wine is always a good idea. Both of these are great as you can simply open the bottle during dinner and share the gift together!
